New to WBCC?
Never been…
Ok, so you have never been to WBCC before? Well we all know that it can be a bit intimidating walking into a new place and maybe only know one or two people. So here is some information that you may find helpful…
What time do I need to be there?
The service starts at 11am but please feel free to arrive beforehand. There are usually people there early who will no doubt introduce themselves to you. On the last Sunday of each month we have an extra service usually lasting only 30 minutes, this service starts at 10.15am. The 11am service follows this service on the last Sunday of the month.
I drive where do I park?
There is a small council car park near the church building or there is a larger car park just off Oak Road (click on the link below for location). There is also on street parking on the various streets near the church. All of which are free of charge on Sundays.
I don’t drive how else can I get to you?
WBCC is only a two minute walk from West Bromwich bus station and an equal distance from the Metro Station.
What will the meeting be like?
The meeting will consist of singing, prayer, communion and preaching/teaching. It usually lasts between about 1hr 30mins and 1hr 45mins. The point of us meeting is to celebrate the work of God in our lives, be taught how to live rightly in this world and encourage one another in faith. Following the service tea and coffee is brought out into the hall, so that we can mingle before heading home.
What about the kids?
There is a committed and dedicated team of volunteers that lead Impact kid’s church. They cater for children between the ages of 4-13. They stay in the service for the first 15 minutes and then go out to the minor hall for teaching and fun activities splitting off into age specific groups. There are also activities on a Friday for them (see Campaigners)
What should I wear?
Anything - people come in jeans, suits, dresses, come in what you feel comfortable in wearing.
